Sexual Abuse - Children
Nothing is more devastating than being charged with a sex crime on a child. The allegation alone can make people think you’re a pervert. It's an allegation some lawyers can't handle. You can be sent to state prison for years and in some cases this is mandatory.

A kid not knowing better, a kid wanting to get even, or a kid being encouraged by an angry lover, can drop a bomb on your life. Here are some cases I’ve handled:
- A decent family man disciplined his daughter. She didn’t like this, so to get even and out of the house, she claimed he molested her. After her motives were exposed, a jury acquitted him, his arrest record was expunged, and he has moved forward with his life.
- A child made a sexual remark. She said my client, her neighbor, touched her. In front of the jury, the child admitted she may have dreamed this. He was found not guilty.
- In a bitter divorce, a teenage daughter, with the prompting of her mother, claimed that her father had raped her for years. I found her on-line blog that admitted she was still a virgin - long after the allegations had been made. The charges were dismissed.
